PUBLIC NOTICE Annexation

A Petition for annexation has been filed in the office of the Richfield City Recorder for the purpose of requesting annexation of a parcel of land belonging to Jeff Albrecht located at approximately 1950 West 1100 South, more specifically described as follows:

BEGINNING AT A POINT WHICH IS LOCATED NORTH 577.50 FEET AND EAST 1049.58 FEET, NORTH 00°31’54” WEST 177.67 FEET AND NORTH 89°24’59” EAST 7.47 FEET FROM THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SECTION 2, T.24 S., R.3 W., S.L.B. & M. TO THE TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, THENCE NORTH 01°18’17” WEST 271.88 FEET TO THE SOUTH LINE OF TAX PARCEL 1-10-32; THENCE SOUTH 89°35’41” EAST ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF TAX PARCEL 1-10-32, 216.20 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 00°32’17” EAST 268.13 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 89°24’59” WEST 212.53 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
CONTAINING 1.33 acres.

Notice of certification was received by the Richfield City Council on March 14, 2024. The complete annexation petition is available for inspection and copying at the office of the Richfield City Recorder.

Richfield City may grant the petition and annex the area described in the petition unless a written protest to the annexation is filed with the Boundary Commission at 250 North Main, Richfield, Utah 84701, and a copy of the protest delivered to the Richfield City Recorder by April 15, 2024. A protest to the annexation petition may be filed by the legislative body or the governing board of an affected entity, an owner of rural real property, or an owner of private real property located in a mining protection area.
