PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Richfield City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers located at 75 East Center, Richfield, Utah, for the purpose of accepting comments concerning the addition of the following proposed definition to the Richfield City Zoning Ordinance: Mixed-Use – Mixed-use developments provide more than one use or purpose within a shared building of development area. It may include a mix of housing, office, retail, medical, recreation, commercial or institutional uses. Shall include a mix of 50 percent non-residential and 50 percent residential, determined by square footage. It shall not supersede or contradict current zoning and uses defined in the use table. No approved mixed-use shall exceed the RM-24 specifications for residential density or the density of the contiguous zones, whichever has the smaller density. All residential development in a mixed-use zone is subject to all applicable building, fire, and safety codes. Mixed-use developments shall be a C-2 use.
