DEPUTY RECORDER/ZONING ADMINISTRATOR

Richfield City is accepting applications for a Deputy Recorder/Zoning Administrator. Minimum qualifications and requirements include High School Graduation with a minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Successful applicants must have knowledge of laws and regulations relating to municipal government, open meetings laws, land use laws; laws governing records retention, management, and access (GRAMA) archiving; modern office practices and procedures, public relations, and technical writing. Applicant must also have a working knowledge of administrative procedures, city government, and inter-relationship of various city functions, federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to zoning. The starting salary range is $23 to $25 per hour, depending on the applicant’s qualifications. Resumes and at least three references are required. The job does require some nights.
