Annexation Notice

PUBLIC NOTICE

A Petition for annexation has been filed in the office of the Richfield City Recorder for the purpose of requesting annexation of a parcel of land belonging to Robert Clark and Julie Ann Bleazard, and located at approximately 495 East 400 South (Annabella Road), more specifically described as follows:

BEGINNING AT A POINT WHICH IS LOCATED SOUTH 88°06’50” EAST 166.79 FEET FROM THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 8, HAY PLAT, SAID POINT ALSO BEING ON THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF ANNABELLA ROAD AND RUNNING THENCE SOUTH 88°06’50” EAST ALONG SAID RIGHT-OF-WAY, 80.00 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 1°53’10” WEST 136.13 FEET; THENCE NORTH 88°06’50” WEST 80.00 FEET; THENCE NORTH 1°53’10” EAST 136.13 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. PART OF PARCEL 4-241-46 & CONTAINS 0.25 ACRES.

Notice of certification was received by the Richfield City Council on April 21, 2021. The complete annexation petition is available for inspection and copying at the office of the Richfield City Recorder.

Richfield City may grant the petition and annex the area described in the petition unless a written protest to the annexation is filed with the Boundary Commission at 250 North Main, Richfield, Utah 84701, and a copy of the protest delivered to the Richfield City Recorder by April 21, 2021. A protest to the annexation petition may be filed by the legislative body or the governing board of an affected entity (or for a proposed annexation of an area within a county of the first class if it contains the signatures of the owners of real property that: (1) is located in the unincorporated area within 2 a mile of the area proposed for annexation; (2) covers at least 25% of the private land area located in the unincorporated area with 2 a mile of the area proposed for annexation; and (3) is equal in value to at least 15% of all real property located in the unincorporated area within 2 a mile of the area proposed for annexation).
