A Petition for annexation has been filed in the office of the Richfield City Recorder for the purpose of requesting annexation of a parcel of land belonging to Richfield City, A&D Jensen & JKL Construction; and located Airport Road and Hwy 118 along 1500 South, more specifically described as follows:

ANNEXATION WEST BOUNDARY
A PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED IN THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 2, T.24 S., R.3 W., S.L.B. & M., LOCATED IN SEVIER COUNTY, UTAH MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:

Notice of certification was received by the Richfield City Council on October 12, 2021. The complete annexation petition is available for inspection and copying at the office of the Richfield City Recorder.

Richfield City may grant the petition and annex the area described in the petition unless a written protest to the annexation is filed with the Boundary Commission at 250 North Main, Richfield, Utah 84701, and a copy of the protest delivered to the Richfield City Recorder by December 18, 2021. A protest to the annexation petition may be filed by the legislative body or the governing board of an affected entity (or for a proposed annexation of an area within a county of the first class if it contains the signatures of the owners of real property that: (1) is located in the unincorporated area within 2 a mile of the area proposed for annexation; (2) covers at least 25% of the private land area located in the unincorporated area with 2 a mile of the area proposed for annexation; and (3) is equal in value to at least 15% of all real property located in the unincorporated area within 2 a mile of the area proposed for annexation).
