PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Richfield City Planning Commission will host a public hearing Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers located at 75 East Center, Richfield, Utah, for the purpose of accepting comments concerning the addition of the following proposed definition to the Richfield City Zoning Ordinance: Mixed-Use – Mixed-use developments provide more than one use or purpose within a shared building of development area. May include a mix of housing, office, retail, medical, recreation, commercial or institutional uses. Shall include a mix of 50 percent non-residential and 50 percent residential determined by square footage. It shall not supersede or contradict current zoning and uses defined in the use table. No approved mixed use shall exceed the RM-24 specifications for residential density, or the density of the contiguous zones, whichever has the smaller density. All residential development in a mixed-use zone is subject to all applicable building, fire and safety codes.  Mixed Use developments shall be a C-2 use.
