PUBLIC NOTICE
A Petition for annexation has been filed in the office of the Richfield City Recorder for the purpose of requesting annexation of a parcel of land belonging to Brock and Mandy Hansen located at approximately 2620 South 325 West, more specifically described as follows:
BEGINNING AT A POINT LOCATED ALONG THE EAST LINE OF SECTION 11, T.24 S., R.3 W., S.L.B. & M., S00°18’13″W 1559.22 FEET AND N88°00’00″W 122.72 FEET MORE OR LESS FROM THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SAID SECTION 11, SAID POINT OF BEGINNING ALSO BEING LOCATED ON THE EXISTING RICHFIELD CITY BOUNDARY AS SHOWN ON THE COMMERCIAL CENTER ANNEXATION PLAT IDENTIFIED AS ENTRY NO. 355406 IN THE OFFICE OF THE SEVIER COUNTY RECORDER, SAID POINT OF BEGINNING ALSO BEING LOCATED ON THE NORTH RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF 2630 SOUTH ROAD; THENCE ALONG SAID RICHFIELD CITY BOUNDARY THE FOLLOWING COURSES: N00°30’00″W 9.46 FEET AND N88°03’24″W 42.94 FEET TO THE EAST LINE OF TAX PARCEL NO. 4-297-53 IDENTIFIED AS ENTRY NO. 318153 IN THE OFFICE OF THE SEVIER COUNTY RECORDER; THENCE ALONG SAID EAST LINE OF ENTRY NO. 318153, N00°30’00″W 320.58 FEET; THENCE S88°00’00″E 334.39 FEET; THENCE S00°30’00″E 330.00 FEET MORE OR LESS TO THE NORTH RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF SAID 2630 SOUTH ROAD; THENCE ALONG THE NORTH RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF SAID 2630 SOUTH ROAD, N88°00’00″W 291.45 FEET MORE OR LESS TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
Notice of certification was received by the Richfield City Council on June 16, 2023. The complete annexation petition is available for inspection and copying at the office of the Richfield City Recorder.
Richfield City may grant the petition and annex the area described in the petition unless a written protest to the annexation is filed with the Boundary Commission at 250 North Main, Richfield, Utah 84701, and a copy of the protest delivered to the Richfield City Recorder by July 15, 2023. A protest to the annexation petition may be filed by the legislative body or the governing board of an affected entity, an owner of rural real property, or an owner of private real property located in a mining protection area.
