NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL

OF THE CITY OF RICHFIELD

SEVIER COUNTY, UTAH

Pursuant to §52-4-6(2), UCA, notice is hereby given that the City Council of Richfield City, Sevier County, Utah, will hold a regular council meeting on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 in the Council Chambers, Richfield City Center, 75 East Center Street, commencing at 6:00 p.m.  The agenda shall be as follows:  (Note: The agenda may be accelerated or line items may be discussed in any order.)

7.   BUSINESS

a.   Consider approving an FAA grant for 7.65 million dollars subject to congressional approval as discussed by Mel Leseberg.

b.   Consider awarding the airport construction project contract to the low bidder subject to congressional approval. 

c.   Clay Morgan of the Highway Patrol to discuss the Citizens Police Academy.

d.   Kary Monroe to discuss the bridges on 200 East and 400 South.

e.   Lauren Resendes to request permission to relocate the “R.”

f.   Consider approving the funding of a joint project with UDOT for the construction of a bike path from Snow College, south to a location to be determined by cost and engineering design.  Construction will begin in spring of 2013.  Total cost $700,000, City’s share $200,000, subject to approval by the Utah Transportation Commission.

g.   7:00 p.m. Public hearing to receive comments on a request for rezone for the properties owned by Jared Stokes and Hartly Nielsen located at 50 West 600 North and 80 West 600 North, respectively, changing from CS zone (commercial shopping) to R1-10 zone (single family residential).

h.   Consider approving an application for a conditional use filed by Lenny and Tammy Fitzgerald to operate a pharmacy with a drive-through window at 510 North Main Street.

i.   Discuss Planning Commission recommendations to amend Section 1723 of the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to RV parking in residential zones.

j.   Consider awarding the bid for the fire station.

k.  Consider awarding the bid for the Veterans’ Memorial granite.
