NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL

OF THE CITY OF RICHFIELD

SEVIER COUNTY, UTAH

Pursuant to ’52-4-6(2), UCA, notice is hereby given that the City Council of Richfield City, Sevier County, Utah, will hold a regular council meeting on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 in the Council Chambers, Richfield City Center, 75 East Center Street, commencing at 7:00 p.m.  The agenda shall be as follows:  (Note: The agenda may be accelerated or line items may be discussed in any order.)

6.       EXPENDITURES – Cash Disbursement Journal for May and June 2009, Warrant Register for June 2009

7.       BUSINESS

a.     7:00 p.m. Public hearing on the tentative budget for 2009-10 for all funds.  The tentative budget for fiscal year 2009-10 includes:  (a) actual revenues and expenditures in the last completed fiscal year; (b) estimated total of revenues and expenditures for the current fiscal year; and (c) estimated total of revenues and expenditures for the upcoming budget year.

b.    Consider adopting budget for fiscal year 2009-2010.

c.    Consider awarding bids for the curb and gutter project and asphalt project for the new business park to the apparent low bidders.

d.    Consider expending $5,809 from the perpetual care fund to pay the City’s half of the fence of Lenny Fitzgerald that borders the Cemetery as requested by Councilmember Dan Chidester.

e.    Review the City’s ordinance for enforcement of business licensing and revocation of a business license as discussed by Charles Billingsley.

f.     Consider amending the Cemetery Policies and Procedures to allow upright headstones in all sections of the Cemetery including Section D and if the cost for these spaces should be raised to $325.

g.    Woody Farnsworth to review a cooperative agreement between Sevier School District and Richfield City to be considered for approval at the August 11 meeting.

h.    Woody Farnsworth to review the status of the Veterans Memorial

i.     Mike Langston to review status and progress of the bike/walking path and fencing for the section between Main Street and 500 North and discuss the coordination of the bike/walking path with Sevier County.
